QK House Weekly Wins — Week of Oct 5, 2026

Hey family, it's your girl Queen Key. Another big week at QK House — doors are opening, papers are signed, and we're stepping into the arena. Here's what your community business got done:

🤝 Teaming agreement signed with Frazier's Tree Service — We sat down on Oct 7 and locked in our partnership for government contract bids. QK House handles the research, proposals, and project management; Frazier's brings the field work. We also drafted a 24-page bid-ready Safety & Health Program for Frazier's crew. One team, one table.

🏗️ First real federal bid in play: the 9 Mile Pump Station — Thalle Construction is collecting quotes for a USACE job in St. Clair Shores, MI, and their solicitation names Woman-Owned AND Veteran-Owned firms as wanted categories. That's us, twice over. I sent our questions to their estimator, Jacy Burnette, on Sunday — and the quote deadline is firm: Tuesday, Oct 13 at 4 PM.

🏅 Government Contracting is now a listed QK House service — I added it to the top of qkhouse.biz/services and announced it on our Facebook page. And our federal profile now carries the WOSB certification automatically, with the SAM.gov registration active through September 2027.

📚 The 504 meeting got handled — Met with Memorial High on Wednesday for Adonis and Amarrie. I walked in with my one-pager, my rights, and my questions — and signed the plans the same day. They told me to call if I want to add anything. Advocate mode: always on.

🎥 Every Etsy listing now runs video — All 9 business-plan templates show the Digital Video badge on the shop. Shoppers can watch before they buy.

📣 Promos kept rolling — The QK House flyer went out every morning and the Etsy rotation kept posting five times a day on Facebook and Instagram. On Friday we put up the new "Food Truck Vendors Wanted" flyer plus the A1 Powersports Bonfire & Boots and Striker raffle flyers.

Next week: we land the 9 Mile quote Tuesday, we're at the Covelli Centre rally on Monday, and my marriage-license video appointment is Tuesday at 2 PM — right before the 4 PM bid deadline. Tuesday is going to be a day.
